My first post ever! Mad Men love!

I wanted to share my excitement for the upcoming third season of AMC's "Mad Men." It is basically the only show I watch on television besides "Fringe" and "Saving Grace." (excluding repeats of other shows) *Grieves over the loss of Terminator: The Sarah Connor Chronicles*



Joan Holloway (played Christina Hendricks), you are my hot-blooded, red-headed vixen. :P I'm glad that the writers stripped away more of the "Office Sexpot" and revealed a more vulnerable and real woman underneath her. I'm hoping Joan leaves her fiance after what he did to her in Don's office. It one of the best episodes of the second season because it showed how much time has changed for women alone. In the 1960s, they didn't have resources or support for when they were physically, emotionally or psychologically violated. It's kind of a horrific thought when you really think about it. Maybe after she leaves her fiance, Joan will go back to:



Roger Sterling (played by John Slattery). Slattery, you are my Silver Fox. :P I know it's wishful thinking since I don't see the writers back-trotting to Joan/Sterling pairing anymore. So sad.

Season Three starts this Sunday August 16 at 10:00PM/9:00PM C!Woohoo!
